Corriveau passionately acts as the local Community Economic Development (CED) Manager at Community Futures South Fraser in Abbotsford BC, and as the founder and Director of the BC Centre for Social Enterprise. She has a business background, and has owned and operated a personal tax and bookkeeping practice since 1996.

Since autumn 2009, she has been serving as founding Executive Director of the non profit Resilient Communities Canada, an organization dedicated to fostering knowledge of sustainable community development via public events, research and dissemination of findings, and direct action related to reducing carbon footprints, enhancing local economies, building civic inclusion, supporting the ecologically sensible consumption of resources, and providing social enterprise supports. She recently formed a private sustainable community development (SCD) consultancy – Blue Marble Consulting. The purpose of Blue Marble is to undertake SCD projects beyond the local Fraser Valley region. See www.ourbluemarble.net

Corriveau holds a Masters degree in English (Queens), a professional certificate in Community Economic Development (SFU), and is an APEC-IBIZ Certified Small Business Counselor. In May 2010, she will have completed the SFU certificate in Sustainable Community Development.
