Johanne Lavoie
Director of the Social Economy office for the City of Montreal

Since 2006, Johanne Lavoie has been the Commissioner for the Social Economy and Director in the office of the Social Economy for the City of Montreal.  Previously, she was manager of a social enterprise and was involved in implementing diverse social economy projects.  She has also worked in the area of social research in partnership with different research institutes.  Johanne Lavoie holds a degree in sociology from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a Masters in geography from the University of Montreal.
