Dr. Wanda Wuttunee to speak at CIRIEC Research Conference

wuttuneeThe Canadian Social Economy Hub is pleased to announce the confirmation of Dr. Wanda Wuttunee as a speaker at the First International CIRIEC Research Conference on the Social Economy, which will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of October 2007, in Victoria BC Canada. An Associate Professor and acting Department Head of Native Studies at the University of Manitoba, Dr. Wanda Wuttunee studies economic development strategies of Canadian Aboriginal communities. She is also on the board of directors of the Institute for Research on Public Policy, and is the author of Living Rhythms: Lessons in Aboriginal Economic Resilience and Vision, an exploration of a community-based perspective of economic regeneration.
