Ontario co-operators will thank him at the Ontario Co-operative Association (On Co-op) 11th Annual Co-operative Spirit Recognition Awards at the Co-op Conference and Gala to be held Oct. 14 at Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON. He will receive the Outstanding Contribution to the Ontario Co-operative Association Award.

A year ago, a group of people, from the region of Eastern Ontario, has started a social enterprise in communication, so the newspaper the Musketeers was created. Democratizing the information, the community bilingual newspapers reveals activities, highlights, news and chronicles  reaching out more than 20,000 homes.

This scholarship program is intended to promote original research by “emerging leaders” in the Social Economy. It is hoped that the scholarships will help advance knowledge for the sector and improve the capacity of successful candidates to further strengthen the Social Economy in their academic and practitioner sectors in Canada.
